With a 2-inch factory suspension lift and the Z71 Off-Road Package, the Custom Trail Boss offers all you need to handle the road when the going gets rough. Add in an Autotrac® 2-speed transfer case and this Silverado has the ability to harness its abundance of torque in low speed situations, providing precision control over varied territory. In terms of looks, the Custom Trail Boss separates itself from the rest of the Silverado lineup courtesy of body-coloured front and rear bumpers, Performance Red recovery hooks and, of course, Trail Boss badging. Starting at just $59,248, the LT Trail Boss offers the performance upgrades found in the Custom Trail Boss while swapping out the 2.7-litre turbo for the 355 horsepower, 383 lb-ft torque 5.3-litre EcoTec3 V8 engine—including a 10-speed automatic as standard equipment. You can also swap in either the 6.2-litre V8 or 3.0-litre Duramax Turbo-Diesel if so inclined. Other mechanical upgrades include a standard dual-exhaust outlet, as well as external engine and transmission oil coolers. The Silverado LT Trail Boss also offers many of the same appearance upgrades including the Performance Red recovery hooks, while adding in a gloss black Bowtie on the front grille, body coloured door handles, and LED lighting including fog lamps, reflector headlamps, and tail lamps.
